Gamtel FC extend their lead on top of the GFF First Division League with another resounding 3-1 victory over Bombada in the week 13 fixture at the Independent Stadium on Monday evening..
The unbeaten league leaders have consolidated their grip in the title chase with their 13th unbeaten game this season, which saw them sitting comfotably on top of the pile on 31 points, and with a healthy 10 point lead over second placed GAF, who are also level on points with GPA on 21, with both playing one game less.
Real De Banjul have also ousted Brikama United to move into 4th place on the league table, after a narrow 1- 0 victory over Hawks FC in the Monday evening’s late kick-off, at the Independence stadium.
The 60th minute goal from Ebrima Jatta separated the two side, although, despite the score margin, it was a well deserved view try for the Banjul whites as they were the better side over the 90 minutes.
Elsewhere in the day’s other game, Fortune FC continued their impressive maidrn campaign with a convincing 2-0 victory over Steve at the Box Bar Mini stadium in Brikama.
