Real De Banjul Sends Young Striker, Micheal Touray On Loan To Ghana

Gambian club, Real de Banjul FC have announced agreeing terms with Ghanaian side, International Allies FC (Inter Allies), for the loan signing of their talented Gambian striker, Michael Touray. The deal was announced through the Banjul club’s website and Facebook page, where they’ve expressed their delight in sending the young Prodigy on a season long loan to their West African neighbours.

The 18-year-old promising forward, who was part of the Real team that lifted The Gambia’s First Divisions League title in 2014, is reported to have arrived in Ghana and is already training with the Accra based club at their base in Tema.

Touray, a product of the Real De banjul youth system, has received rave rerviews as a promising young striker who can also play on the wings. And following his transfer to Inter, he has expressed his delight in making the move to the Ghanaian side, where he has already shed light on the exposore he is receiving in terms of learning new techniques. He told Real’s club website www.realdebanjul.gm: “I am very happy with my move to Inter Allies and I have been exposed to new techniques and knowledge since I came here. It is a move I am happy with and I will do my level best to help the team achieve its objectives for the season and continue to score goals for them.”

Real’s club President, William Abraham made comparisons between the two clubs, in terms of developing youths and admitted the move is good for Micheal.

Ghanaian Premer League Team Inter Allies FC

“This loan option is a very good move for Michael. Inter Allies are one of the top talent producing teams in Ghana and they are a team like us, who are very active in marketing their players, so this is a good option for Michael, us and Inter Allies.”

International Allies FC, nicknamed, Eleven Is To Ones, was founded in October 1996 by Lebanese brothers Omar Nasser El-Eter and Rabeh Nasser El-Eter along with former Ghanaian international, the late Robert Tetteh. They have produced a number of Ghanaian youth and senior national team players like Daniel Amartey, David Nii Addy, Gershon Koffie and Clifford Aboagye, just to name a few, and they are currently playing in the sixteen team Ghanaian Premier League, where they had finished sixth last term, with a point tally of 42.

The Inter Allies’s club Executive Director, Delali Eric Senaye expressed their delight in securing the services of the young Gambian and told the club’s official website: “This is a great signing for the club and will enforce the goal scoring ability of the team.”
